The objective of the familyfriendlycommunity audit is to promote a pro-family atmosphere in communities (villages, municipalities) that is family-friendly and encourages the building of relationships in families and promotes intergenerational dialogue. Another objective is to increase the attractiveness of villages as places suitable for families, children, seniors and employers. The attractiveness of a village has a positive impact on the village’s ability to be a viable economic contributor, on the development of the village with respect to state activities, investments and economic activities by employers, its demographic growth, the interest of families to live in the village and building a civil society. The entire process is based on the proven know-how developed in Austria.
